Raptors Forward (and Sneakerhead) DeMarre Carroll Saying Adios to Atlanta Home

After signing a four-year, $60 million deal with the Toronto Raptors in July, former Hawks star DeMarre Carroll is selling his Atlanta house for $1.27 million

During his two-season stay in Atlanta, this seven-bedroom house was a sweet spot for the 6-foot-8 forward to wind down. It measures 9,543 square feet and has a huge kitchen with two granite-topped islands and two dishwashers.

The two-story house features coffered ceilings, some of which are adorned with hanging light fixtures; hardwood floors; and plenty of custom cabinetry. The wood-paneled office is pretty boss, too.

Speaking of business, Carroll stands to make a profit on this home. Property records show he bought it in 2013 for $947,500.

Built in 2007, it comes with standard pro athlete features, including a game room, theater, full bar, and pool. And then there's this gigantic closet, which clearly proves the 29-year-old has a shoe addiction.

Carroll began his NBA career with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2009. After bouncing around the league a bit, he showcased his talents in last season's playoff run for the Hawks. Was it the shoes? Perhaps.
