Fresh off his gig at the Grateful Dead farewell concerts, Phish frontman Trey Anastasio is selling the Cliff House in Palisades, NY, for $2,995,000.

While he didn't comment on the ownership of the home, listing agent Richard Ellis has plenty to say about this Hudson River oasis.

"Cliff House is an extraordinary Hudson riverfront home located next to 2,500 acres of pristine, riverfront parkland, and only 25 minutes to New York City," Ellis notes.

"The home is completely private and offers a Mid-Century vibe. Lots of fireplaces, decks, and a great yard that feels like you're sitting in a park, looking out at the river. You even get your own private, rocky cove on the Hudson. A perfect getaway," he adds.

It's also known as a celebrity destination. In fact, the home -- and the neighborhood -- has a starry glow. The musician bought the home from actress Lorraine Bracco in 2009, according to the New York Post. Neighbors at the time included actors Al Pacino and Bill Murray and choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov.

We can see the allure. The stunner in the Snedens Landing neighborhood is described in the listing as "romantic and extremely private."

The natural surroundings were likely a big draw for the singer-songwriter, who called Vermont his home before he purchased the New York property.

And now, we can sing its praises.
