South Florida, particularly the West Palm Beach area, is paradise for golfers thanks to an abundance of courses. Earlier this month pro golfer Dustin Johnson, along with fiance Paulina Gretzky (Wayne Gretzky's daughter), snapped up a mansion in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, for $4.95 million, earning a veritable hole-in-one.

The mansion measuring 8,200 square feet was built in 2009 on nearly 2 acres on the Intracoastal Waterway. Surrounding the Mediterranean-style five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home are three elite clubs: Admirals Cove, the Bear's Club, and Trump International Golf Club.

Some of the home's other luxury perks include an elevator, an insulated wine room, a four-car garage, three balconies, and -- perfect for Johnson -- a shed to park golf carts.

"I believe they got an amazing deal on the property. It's rare to find a property of this caliber in Palm Beach County at the price it was purchased. If they plan on growing their family, this home will be perfect for them. It has plenty of room and everything to offer for a family to live and play," says listing agent Danielle Munson.

The property also features a rock-fall waterslide, private island with its own Tiki hut, and a beach with a hammock and a fire pit, Munson adds.

Johnson, a nine-time winner on the PGA Tour, can access the home through the waterway if he chooses, thanks to a private ramp for a boat or yacht, and custom docks for multiple boats.
