The Stanley Cup playoffs are still going strong, but for all but four hockey teams the season is over, freeing up time for players to make moves in the real estate market.
We've rounded up a total of six hockey stars, both active and retired, who are currently selling their homes. Let's drop the puck and take a look.
Sami Salo
Home price: $3.1 million
Salo officially retired last year because of a wrist injury, but his 15-year run with the NHL was lucrative -- and painful. During his career, the Finnish-born defenseman suffered over 40 injuries. Now he's selling his waterfront home in Tampa, FL, which he purchased in 2012 for $2.85 million. It's a 5,520-square-foot home with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Out back is a cove leading out to the Culbreath Bayou, and you can set sail from your own personal dock.

Bryan Allen
Home price: $3.8 million
Currently a free agent, Allen didn't spend any time with an NHL franchise in the 2015 -- 16 season. The 35-year-old bruiser has played in the NHL for over 15 years for five teams, including the Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim Ducks, and Florida Panthers. The defenseman snagged this chic modern home for $3.3 million in 2014. Located in Corona del Mar, the home measures 3,540 square feet and has four bedrooms, three bathrooms (including a marble-covered master), and a snazzy rooftop fireplace.

Keith Primeau
Home price: $2.5 million
Primeau was an NHL center for 15 years before retiring in 2006 after a diagnosis of postconcussion syndrome. He's best known for his dominant run with the Philadelphia Flyers during the 2004 playoffs. The former Flyers captain ( now a Philadelphia deli owner) owns this very photogenic home in Longport, NJ. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom, 3,800-square-foot "upside-down-designed" home has an elevator, built-in backyard barbecue, and beautiful woodwork throughout.

Lee Stempniak
Home price: $1.46 million
Stempniak was traded to the Bruins in March, but he might be leaving soon. As Sports Illustrated pointed out, he "always seems to be packing his bag and moving on to a new locker room" while his wife stays home with the kids. Heading back into free agency, the 33-year-old right wing is selling his two-bedroom, 1,353-square-foot brownstone penthouse with a rooftop deck in Beantown's South End.

Ryan Getzlaf
Home price: $7.2 million
The Anaheim Ducks made an ignominious first-round exit from the Stanley Cup playoffs, but there's nothing shameful about their captain's Corona del Mar home, which is the priciest on our list. Getzlaf purchased the two-level home last year for $6.1 million. Off the ice, he just scored a real estate win by selling another home in Orange County for $3.75 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. The home he's selling features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a theater, a walk-out kitchen, and ocean views. We don't think he's headed far -- he signed an eight-year, $66 million contract with the Ducks in 2013.

Niklas Backstrom
Home price: $1.85 million
After nine seasons with the Minnesota Wild, Backstrom was traded to the Calgary Flames this season. So, it's no surprise the Finn is parting with his 2013-built Minnesota home. It's a 5,050-square-foot home with five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It looks like a custom build -- Backstrom bought it the same year it was built -- and it includes a very apropos Finnish sauna.
