New Bucs Coach Dirk Koetter Selling $2.15M Tampa Home

After a successful -- and short -- stint as offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dirk Koetter was promoted to head coach with a five-year contract. Now it looks like Koetter is ready to move up in real estate as well. He just listed his Tampa, FL, home.

On the market for $2.15 million, the five-bedroom home -- with a Mediterranean influence on the exterior and classy contemporary on the inside -- fits right into the sunny Southern Florida landscape.

Inside, the home has tons of architectural charm with tray ceilings, custom light fixtures, and wrought-iron staircases. There is a large chef's dream kitchen with tons of storage, high-end appliances, and an "11 by 7-foot Statuary marble center island," according to the listing. There's also an impressive master suite with a fireplace, spacious bathroom, and walk-in closet.

After a year with the team, Koetter replaced Lovie Smith, becoming the team's fourth head coach in eight years. Quick promotion or not, he seems ready to take the reins.

"I grew up in a house where there was 16-millimeter film on the kitchen table; where there were long, hard days and JV games, varsity games, playbooks buried in a basement, and plays on napkins. Every coaching book ever written was in our basement. I'm a football coach," Koetter said in a press conference.
