He didn't land with a new team in 2015, and now outfielder Scott Hairston is saying goodbye to his mountainside getaway in Pinetop, AZ. It's on the market for $1.2 million.
The 4,425-square-foot home was built in 2006 for listing agent Chuck Teetsel. The kitchen, master suite, and exterior decks were designed to be on the second level to take advantage of the mountain views, says Teetsel, who later sold the home to Hairston.
Pinetop and the surrounding White Mountains area inspired the Craftsman style of the four-bedroom home, which features rock and several types of wood throughout. The floors are made of hand-scraped maple, and "every single room in the house, including the three-car garage, has custom cabinetry," Teetsel says.
The lower level of the home has a 750-bottle wine cellar. If you get a little tipsy, don't worry: You can bypass the stairs and take the elevator.
"I'm very happy [Hairston] asked us to represent them [again] in selling this unique home that we still love," says Teetsel.
