Beloved jurist Judge Judy -- also known as Judith Sheindlin -- is trading in her spacious Naples, FL, penthouse for a private escape nearby. She purchased a lakefront mansion in early November for $8.6 million, but that's small-claims court compared to the $11 million asking price for her 16th-floor condo.

The acerbic arbiter has wielded her gavel on more than 5,000 episodes during "Judge Judy's" 20-season run, laying down the law on everything from marital disputes to drug deals gone wrong.

Moving to a 10,607-square-foot home, the judge can render a favorable opinion on her new meticulously landscaped yard, featuring three waterfalls, a spa, a gazebo, and a lagoon-style pool.

And while her former four-bedroom residence was certainly luxurious, its penthouse location didn't offer lush outdoor space (although it does offer four large balconies). What it lacks in lawn it makes up for with glamour, from the glitzy entryway to the picture windows offering endless views of the Gulf of Mexico.

It's not too difficult to breathe in the ocean air -- the spacious bedrooms offer stunning views and open directly onto the balcony. And if you're eager to get down to sea level, two private, high-speed elevators are waiting to whisk you downstairs.
