Is 'DWTS' Pro Mark Ballas Going to Flip This House?

"Dancing With the Stars" star Mark Ballas is working to perfect a new move: the flip. According to TMZ, Ballas has bought a Spanish-style home in Beverly Hills, CA, for $2,525,000. And rumors are rampant that he's aiming to renovate the property and sell it for a nice profit.

If that happens, he will no doubt have plenty of help from his best bud and fellow "DWTS" pro, Derek Hough. Plus, the pair of dancers-turned-developers will be armed with some hard-won experience as they dig in, too.

In 2014, the duo bought and revamped a 1960s ranch house in Studio City, CA, documenting their steep learning curve in an HGTV reality show, " Mark and Derek's Excellent Flip."

And the timing of this purchase makes a whole lot of sense, too: Ballas and his "DWTS" celeb partner Alex PenaVega were recently cut from this season of the reality TV dance competition. That means Ballas has some free time, so perhaps the ballroom dancer can better focus on choreographing the perfect renovation?

The listing calls the 1973 property in the prestigious 90210 ZIP code a "wonderful family home" and a "money-making opportunity on one of Benedict Hills Estates' most desirable streets."

The pricey fixer-upper features five bedrooms, herringbone wood floors, a fireplace, and an outdoor pool. Otherwise, though, based on the few photos we've seen, we'd say the place is sorely in need of updating!

If Ballas is half as good at flipping homes as he is doing backflips on stage, we'll wager he'll do just fine. With an upscale update, Ballas could dance away with a hefty profit.
