Ina Garten, better known as TV's "Barefoot Contessa," will be devoting time over the stove in her new Park Avenue pied--terre, which she and her husband, Jeffrey, recently purchased for $4.65 million, the New York Observer reports.

The two-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 62nd Street and Park was formerly owned by Nancy Novogrod, former editor of Travel + Leisure magazine, the Observer says. When it was up for sale, the unit on the Upper East Side was described as an "extraordinarily handsome, gracious pre-war home with a tranquil feel."

Garten's new city digs measure in at 2,350 square feet and boast eastern and southern exposures. The prewar co-op also features 10-foot ceilings, three fireplaces, and an enormous living room with four large windows.

Most important, the recently renovated kitchen features a six-burner range and stone-topped center island. There's also a separate "dining gallery," apropos for food royalty who's used to preparing and eating feasts with her hubby in their East Hampton home, where her popular Food Network cooking show is filmed.
