Beauty king Bruno Mascolo has put his Malibu, CA, mansion on the market for $15.75 million.

The Italian-born, British-bred hair impressario runs Toni&Guy, a national chain of hair salons and academies. The company is probably best known for its TIGI hair-care line, which was sold to Unilever in 2009 for $412 million. The line includes popular products such as Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Amplifier and Bed Head Control Freak Serum.

Perhaps Mascolo tired of saltwater in his hair -- because it's tough to figure out why else he'd let go of this stunning Italian-style villa. Built in 1930, this 5,849-square-foot beach home has been completely rebuilt and modernized.

It features six bedrooms, a theater, a gym, and an office with an incredible view.

The updated chef's kitchen serves up a light-up island buffet, as well as a built-in grill and pizza oven.

There's also all that outdoor space: three ocean-view patios, two mountain-view patios, and easy beach access at this private and star-studded location.

Lounge long enough and you might catch a peek of longtime residents such as Tom Hanks, Rob Reiner, or Jim Carrey. Just hope it's a good hair day.
