A month after the dissolution of her 12-year marriage, culinary sensation Giada De Laurentiis is ready to whip up something new -- and the enormous country-style kitchen of her future Spanish-style estate in Pacific Palisades, CA, is the perfect place to start.
The Italian-American chef is a three-time Daytime Emmy nominee and one-time winner of Outstanding Lifestyle Host. She's hosted several cooking shows, including "Giada at Home" -- which, contrary to the title, is not actually filmed at her home, meaning die-hard fans of her Food Network show won't be subject to a location change.

While it veers from her traditional Italian style, the home's 1920s Spanish decor might inspire her anew, with colorful mosaic tiles and detailed wrought-iron creations.
Or maybe it will bring about an entire career change: The home was previously owned by "King of Swing" Benny Goodman, and its guesthouse is already set up as a music studio. It's a far cry from cooking, but it might be just the new rhythm she needs.
