After catching more than 500 passes over 10 seasons in the NFL, retired wide receiver Chris Chambers is now looking to make a pass of his own. Chambers has listed his six-bedroom home in Davie, FL, for $1,390,000.

The 5,893-square-foot home sits squarely in Stonebrook Estates, a gated community known for the equestrian lifestyle it offers its well-heeled residents.

The home's lush and private backyard is a welcome respite from the big-city hustle of Miami. But if you'd like to cheer on the home team, the house sits about a half-hour from Sun Life Stadium, where Chambers spent six-and-a-half productive seasons with the Dolphins after the team selected him in the 2001 NFL draft.

His career took him to San Diego and Kansas City, MO, but he faded from view after the Chiefs released him in July 2011. To review some of his spectacular catches (or just Netflix and chill), there's a media room outfitted with plush leather seats for seven.

And for dapper dressers, the closet in the master bedroom was carved from what was originally the seventh bedroom -- it now affords extra storage space for clothes and shoes.

Other features of the home include marble flooring, a high-tech security system, and a front door made of steel.
