Just two weeks after getting the boot from his job, former Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin has listed his Mediterranean-style estate in Davie, FL, for $2.5 million.

After a 1-3 start to a season that began with playoff optimism, management canned the fourth-year coach immediately after the team's disappointing loss to the New York Jets on Oct. 4. Before joining the Fins, Philbin served as offensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers for four years, including their Super Bowl -- winning 2010 season.

Philbin's 7,850-square-foot, six-bedroom mansion is as private as it gets. Not only is it located in a gated community, it also has a secondary security gate outside the courtyard.

While the exterior is all about security, the interior is all about entertainment: The home features a wine room, a game room, and a "resort-style pool," says listing agent Deborah Khoury.

"It's something you have to see," she says of the home's high-end finishings, including marble floors throughout the first level, hardwood floors in the bedrooms -- each of which has its own balcony and en suite bathroom -- and "very lush landscaping."
