Tennis great Chris Evert is selling her smashing estate in Boca Raton, FL, for just a shade under $6 million, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The gated Spanish-style home is a sports enthusiast's paradise complete with swimming pool, tennis court, and putting green. The 5-acre compound includes a 12,300-square-foot main house, two guesthouses, and a garage that holds at least nine cars.

Built in 1995, the main house has eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The formal rooms are huge, and the master bedroom boasts vaulted and beamed ceilings, a sitting area, and a soaking tub beneath a skylight. The white kitchen is also topped by wood beams and features a two-tier center island.

The estate was last sold in 2003 for $2.8 million, the Times says. And while the tennis legend's mansion is grand, it's by no means the grandest in Boca -- there are currently 14 mansions for sale in the city that are priced over $10 million.

Evert, 61, captivated the sports world as a teen with her two-fisted backhand. She went on to win nearly 200 professional matches, including 18 Grand Slam tournaments. She now runs a tennis academy in Boca and is an ESPN commentator.
