Hockey Hall of Famer Brett Hull has put up his Clayton mansion for sale for $3,775,000. The home's old-world charm blends sweetly with today's style after the home underwent vast renovations a year and a half ago.

Listing agent Katie Curran told us a large iron door with glass panels greets you, creating an inviting scene that has left visitors "breathless." "The door alone will have you at 'hello,'" she said.

Built in 1912 and part of the historic register at Brentmoor Park, the six-bedroom home features a loggia that overlooks almost 2 acres of land. You enter a spacious room from which you can survey the seamless flow of the house. It's easy to picture a party where a host can float from one room to another with ease, greeting guests before retiring to the stunning wine room.

The wine room is among the mansion's many unique features -- the highlight of the room is the classic stained glass that's been described as "one of a kind" and "awe-inspiring." Curran said the the home leaves visitors amazed thanks to its blend of turn-of-the-century architecture and impeccable custom renovations.

Curran said the public response to the home has been overwhelmingly positive. "This is the most well-done renovation in Brentmoor Park," she quoted a neighbor as saying.

The kitchen and bathrooms were the focus of the most extreme overhauls in the landmark estate. Curran said the master bathroom is one of her favorite parts of the house.

All white and featuring a herringbone marble floor, the room gives off a calming and serene vibe. She said the result of the bathroom renovation is "very today" and contrasts beautifully with the architecture of the home that transports you to another time and place.
