"The Mindy Project" actor Ike Barinholtz is upgrading to bigger digs. With a baby on the way -- and four films in 2016 in the can for " comedy's next great leading man" -- Barinholtz and his wife have picked up a $3.3 million, five-bedroom East Coast -- inspired home in Los Angeles' Hancock Park neighborhood.

A "MADtv" veteran, Barinholtz came to fame as the brightest spot in comedy ingenue Mindy Kaling's "The Mindy Project," where he plays goofy nurse Morgan Tookers. He's also graced the silver screen in "Sisters," "Neighbors," and the upcoming "Suicide Squad."

His new home is understated and elegant, with white walls and wainscoting throughout and dark hardwood floors creating a pleasantly neutral base for a big personality.

And there's nothing bland about the large master suite, with a veranda overlooking the backyard, and master bathroom with a Victoria and Albert soaking tub and enormous walk-in shower with glass walls.

Nearly 4,000 square feet in size, the backyard is sunny and landscaped for privacy, with more than enough room for an elegant soiree. Or a wild, "Neighbors"-inspired frat party -- just add Zac Efron.
