This newly renovated estate sits on nearly half an acre behind a golf course in California’s Coachella Valley. In addition to its picturesque mountain views, the house is appointed with elegant finishes.

The 3,538-square-foot house was built in 1996. It underwent a full renovation led by the current owners that took about five years to complete. The home has three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one partial bathroom. An office can be used as a fourth bedroom or a media room.

The master suite has a library with bookshelves that are accessible by ladder. The bathroom, which is clad in Calacatta marble, features a ‘wet room,’ or an area where the shower floor is flush with the rest of the room. The wet room has a claw-footed bathtub, a rain shower and a fireplace.

The grounds, which are meticulously landscaped, include a swimming pool, a spa, waterfalls, a fire pit and patios for al-fresco dining. “There are all of these little pocket areas for entertaining,” said listing agent Dean Sipe of HÔM Sotheby’s International Realty.

Sipe was unable to disclose the names of the owners, but said the couple lives in Los Angeles where the husband works in the medical industry. They have decided to sell the home because they are using it less often.
