As Us Weekly magazine dutifully reminds us each week, celebrities are just like us: They get late-night nachos, watch TV in their old pajamas, and pick up their dogs' poop. The truthiness of this popular feature is up for debate, but seeing usually glamorous figures engaged in such ordinary activities never ceases to fascinate.

Another way we're just like celebs? Our undying love of home! Of course, their homes are definitely not like ours, but we can all relate to kicking back in our favorite spot in the house.

We talked to a few stars during Emmy week to ask them about their favorite room in their home -- they ranged from a meditation room to an outdoor deck perfect for snacking on potato chips.

Exclusive! Get the scoop below…

Tatiana Maslany, "Orphan Black"

"I really like the nook that is in my window. Often when my friends come over, we put their babies in there. Or my friends sit there and read or write. So it's kind of a nice little hang zone -- it's right in the kitchen area."

Courtney B. Vance, "The People v. O.J. Simpson"

"I love the pool area outside of my home. I love to swim, I turn my music on and just get into the pool. It's rectangle-shaped and nicely landscaped. I can get in there and do my workout and run in the water. I love it."

Melora Hardin, "Transparent"

"Definitely our living room. We have a 1927 Spanish Revival home that has originally hand-painted ceilings in red and gold and green. It's stunning. I love sitting there and just looking up, and daydreaming and gazing up at the ceiling."

Tony Hale, "Veep"

"We just moved to a new place in Studio City. It's fun to find those new favorite spaces within it. I love to be able to do that. Like the family room, where we just kinda hang out. And I like the office area that is next to the home. It's a nice little getaway."

Matt Walsh, "Veep"

"Probably the bedroom: Everything happens there. It has a great bed, so we read the kids stories on there when they can't stay up at night. I think it's a great place to catch a nap. It's the best."

Constance Zimmer, "UnREAL"

"My favorite room is the outdoor deck, where we have a dining table set up and eat almost every meal out there. Living in L.A., where the weather is warm, we can do that. It's probably my favorite place right now. It's also the place where friends come over for cocktails; we will sit out there with potato chips. It's a really nice view of the yard."

Reggie Watts, "The Late Late Show With James Corden"

"Right now, it's my living room, because I have virtual reality set up in there. I have been going into this social VR community a lot, called Altspace. You are in this headset, so you feel like you are in this virtual environment. It's been awesome and crazy to hang out with people from all over the world. I think it's crazy to have virtual reality in your living room, and be able to go into another world any time you want. And play interactive games while moving around the room. I have 15 by 15 feet to move and interact with environments. It's a new technology, but I think it's here to stay finally."

Richard Cabral, "American Crime"

"My meditation room. It really gives a sense of peace, so I don't get lost in the craziness. I need to just center in. I have my altar there and my sage that I burn. Candles and aroma, too."

Kaitlin Doubleday, "Empire"

"I have this patio that I really love. It's enclosed with bushes, and there are stringed lights. I sit out there and read. We have a lot of dinner parties out there, too. I love being outside, and having that outdoor space in my home has been an amazing upgrade from where I was before."

Michelle Ang, "Fear The Walking Dead"

"I live in a studio loft in Los Angeles, so it's one giant room. I really like any room that has a lot of natural sunlight. That's my thing. We have large windows, so sunlight comes in all the time. It's a heritage building, an old biscuit factory. I love living there."
