"We want Trump!"
Such was the sentiment in Richmond, Va. Wednesday, where thousands gathered to hear Donald Trump deliver his usual set in addition to offering his take on the first Democratic debate.
The Republican presidential hopeful, who is first in the Washington Examiner's presidential power rankings, was forced to pause his speech within minutes of taking the stage, as supporters amplified their cheers to drown out a small group of hecklers.
"That's okay, don't worry," Trump told the crowd. "That's why we have freedom of speech folks. And I'll tell you how dishonest the press is — we have about 7,000 people in this room and [the] 10 people over there, they'll get the headline."
"That's disgusting, [but] that's how it goes," he added.
