Rice to endorse Romney at fundraiser

Sources close to former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice tell Fox News that she will endorse Mitt Romney at a fundraiser Wednesday night in Hillsborough, Calif.

The endorsement comes after Romney secured the necessary delegates Tueday to become the Republican nominee for president.

Rice is working as a professor at Stanford University and a senior fellow on public policy at the Hoover Institution. She is also a founding partner of RiceHadleyGates – a consulting firm with other key players from the George W. Bush foreign policy team.

There’s been speculation the former secretary of state is a potential running mate for Romney.
