President Obama will hold his 10th solo news conference Tuesday in the White House briefing room in the wake of the battle over how to handle the Bush-era tax rates.

This will be the president's fifth news conference this year.  He also held five solo press conferences in 2009, four of them being in prime-time.

By comparison President Bush held seven press conferences his first two years in office, with one of them being prime-time.
