During the White House briefing, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked about House Speaker Pelosi's allegations that the CIA misled her about briefings she received on interrogation tactics. Gibbs wouldn't play ball, but when asked if the President sill has confidence in the Speaker, Gibbs said "he does."

QUESTION:  OK.  Some have suggested that Speaker Pelosi should come forward with evidence of her allegation that the CIA misled her. Does the president agree that she should have some evidence?

GIBBS:  You know, I appreciated the opportunity to get involved in this on Friday, and I declined and I haven't changed my mind on Monday.

QUESTION:  Does the president have confidence in Speaker Pelosi?

GIBBS:  He does.
