Biden Offers Condolences After Death of Olympic Athlete

Vice President Joe Biden offered condolences today to the country of Georgia, who lost one of their Olympic athletes in an accident. The Vice President commented on the incident while in Vancouver to represent the Obama administration at the Olympics with his wife, Jill.

Twenty-one-year-old Nodar Kumaritashvili was killed after hitting an unpadded steel pole during a practice luge run. Biden called the event tragic.
