Christina is a Connecticut native based in New York City. After graduating from Marist College, she began her career covering local government, arts and culture for weekly newspapers in New York’s Hudson Valley. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she backpacked through Central America improving her Spanish language skills and getting a first-hand look at the roots of America’s border crisis.
