Kate Beckinsale reacts to funny meme about her Pete Davidson make-out session
Kate Beckinsale, 45, left a comment on an Instagram post that poked fun of the actress’ recent make-out session with Pete Davidson, 25, at a New York Rangers hockey game last weekend.

The “Widow” star posted her first Instagram photo since scrubbing her account clean following criticisms of her relationship with Pete Davidson. On Thursday morning, Beckinsale, 45, shared a photo of herself standing in front of a plant and playfully wrote, “Back to business. Also this is not a plant it is a painfully attached tail.”
Beckinsale’s decision to wipe her account came after commenters wouldn’t stop calling her out for dating 25-year-old Davidson. The straw that appeared to break the camel’s back was a comment from actor David Spade, who quipped, “You like them young!,” referencing Davidson. “(Now don’t fight back and roast me just quietly stew and take the hit.)”
“@Davidspade never gonna happen grandpa,” Beckinsale wrote in response.

The “Underworld: Blood Wars” star’s return to social media also comes after she told the Los Angeles Times that her 20-year age gap with the “Saturday Night Live” star and his public past are non-issues.
“I’ve never been in this position before — never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief,” said Beckinsale, who was previously married to Len Wiseman and dated Michael Sheen. “It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to.”
“I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it,” she added. “If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not.”
