Gwyneth Paltrow brings Goop to Netflix
Hollywood Nation: 46-year-old actress Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly bringing her lifestyle and wellness brand to Netflix in a new docu-series.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow denied that she seriously injured a man at a Utah ski resort after skiing into him, alleging in a countersuit that the man actually rammed into her from behind delivering a full “body blow” in the process.
According to court documents filed Wednesday in Utah and obtained by Fox News, the Goop owner claims she was skiing with family on a beginner run at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah on Feb. 26, 2016, when she was mowed down by Terry Sanderson.
Paltrow, 46, says in the complaint that she was shaken up by the collision and hung her skis up for the day after the incident. She said Sanderson apologized to her and indicated he was OK. The “Shakespeare in Love” actress has previously denied Sanderson’s initial claim that she was to blame for the crash but had not provided her version of events until now.
"She did not knock him down," Paltrow's court filing said. "He knocked her down. He was not knocked out."
The account differs greatly from the sequence of events alleged by Sanderson in the lawsuit filed last month. He said Paltrow was skiing out of control and knocked him out, leaving him with a concussion and four broken ribs. Sanderson referred to it as a "hit and run" and is seeking $3.1 million in damages.

Sanderson, a retired optometrist, told reporters in Salt Lake City on the day he sued that he waited to file the lawsuit for nearly three years because he had problems with attorneys and could not function properly because of the concussion.
Deer Valley Resort spokeswoman Emily Summers has said previously that the resort cannot comment on pending legal matters. Sanderson's lawsuit against Paltrow also includes the resort as a defendant.
