Novak Djokovic proves that there’s no use for sulking following a Wimbledon loss, and that sponsoring a gala dinner, inviting a slew of A-list cronies, and letting the champagne flow is a better way to go. And while Andy Murray was certainly the man of the hour at the Champions’ Ball the night before, Djokovic was looking sharp as ever in a black tuxedo, with his gorgeous girlfriend Jelena Ristic on his arm. The Serbian beauty happened to make a major statement in the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 gown that’s been inspiring us to show our stripes (and chevron). READ: Women Turning Heads at Wimbledon JustFab’s latest recruit Kate Hudson made us miraculously reconsider the high-low hemline in a brown Elie Saab Spring 2013 embellished chiffon dress, which she accessorized with spiked Christian Louboutin accoutrements. The star’s uber-blonde mom Goldie Hawn, who is still an absolute fox, was also in attendance. She wore a sexy white silk gown with a subtle gold chain print, along with her signature waves and summer glow. We think her look gives credence to Michael Kors’ belief that fashion rules have relaxed for older women. Naomi Campbell sported a black ruffled column gown by Azzedine Alaia, proving that she stands above the rest, even in monochrome. As one would expect for any Wimbledon-related fête, the royals were on hand. Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, who each donned black, attended with their mother Sarah, the Duchess of York. Since the two sisters opted for such yawn-worthy LBDs, it was Eugenie’s shiny coif with her new blunt bangs that had the internet abuzz. SEE: Kate Middleton's Maternity Style Despite the black tie attire, many of the celebrity attendees kicked off their heels and dress shoes for a little bit of recreational tennis, which added even more fun to the party. View all the looks below, and if you’ve still got Wimbledon fever, see all the chic attendees from the Champions’ ball.

Think of all the celebrities you can imagine wearing thigh high boots: Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, and…Nicole Kidman? For her recent Jimmy Choo campaign, Kidman shocked us with her new red ‘do and uncharacteristic sexuality. Now, in a behind-the-scenes movie for that same campaign, she surprises again by divulging her favorite types of shoe. “I am always partial to a thigh-high boot, so that would probably be my favorite,” she explains. “My husband and I have motorbikes, so I’m definitely a boot girl.” READ: Bye-Bye Blisters-Love Your Shoes and Wear Them, Too Well, we’re pretty sure the last time we saw Kidman in any kind of thigh-highs was back in "Moulin Rouge," but we’ll trust her. As she talks in the Jimmy Choo film clip, you can see flashes of her wearing some boots, and they do look amazing. However, Kidman’s not the first to bring our attention to thigh high boots this year, though she is perhaps the most unexpected. In fact, 2013 has practically been The Year of the Thigh High Boot. First we saw both Beyonce and Sarah Jessica Parker both rocking some crazy boots at the 2013 Met Gala (though Parker’s mohawk may have distracted you from her footwear). READ: Trouble Afoot with Certain Celeb Footwear Choices Then at last week’s Haute-Couture Fashion Week in Paris, Karl Lagerfeld and other designers sent models parading down the runway wearing thigh high boots. Even at this year’s Tony Awards, "Kinky Boots" (which features all kinds of thigh-highs) nabbed the award for Best Musical. And now Nicole Kidman.
