When it comes to looking good, it’s just business as usual for the Duchess of Cambridge.
PHOTOS: Prince George is Christened in Royal Family Gown
Just a day after baptizing her son Prince George, Kate Middleton enjoyed a solo night out for charity — and looked captivating while doing so.
As the guest of honor for the 100 Women in Hedge Funds (100WHF) gala dinner, Middleton opted for an ethereal sapphire-hued silk dress with a velvet black ribbon to cinch her already tiny waist. The event, which was held at the Kensington Palace State Apartments in London, celebrated raising funds for the organization Action on Addiction.
Along with her smoky eyes and nude lips, Middleton’s glamorous gown sparked headlines, but there was something familiar about her get-up. Once again, Middleton chose to wear a dress created by Jenny Packman, recognized as one her favorite designers. Packman is quickly becoming Middleton's go-to designer, as she's also responsible for the famous polka-dot dress Middleton wore for her first appearance as a mother back in July.
And in case you’re wondering, Prince George was a hot topic at the swanky soiree.
Middleton revealed that she was surprised at how well-behaved the little royal was during his christening.
“He was such a good boy actually,” she admitted to Sky News. “We were very lucky, he’s not always like that.”

Lady Gaga is pulling out all the stops on a promotional visit to Berlin for her latest album "ARTPOP." And by stops, we mean humungous chicken helmets and mustaches.
Yesterday, the "Applause" singer greeted fans on the street wearing a large triangular headpiece that, upon close inspection, features some kind of a golden beak between tiny eye-holes. And later, during a visit to Berghain nightclub, Gaga arrived in little more than lingerie and a Dali-esque mustache. (It's a look she's also cultivating on Instagram.)

But that's not all. Just this morning, she strolled Berlin pretty much in the nude, with only a sheer piece of fabric for coverage.
The latter pics are a bit too NSFW for us (JustJared has them, if you're curious), but you can scroll down to check out Gaga sporting underwear and facial hair.
Is your hair oily, frizzy, or just simply an unruly mess that no brush can tame? We’ve all been there.
Having a bad hair day can be a major disaster when you’re trying to look and feel your best, but fortunately you can now give those emergency hats a break. Celebrity stylists insist there’s one hairstyle that’s on trend, flatters nearly any hair type, can give you a youthful yet glamorous appearance, and more importantly, can make any pouf look amazing.

It’s no wonder so many stars have been spotted with the timeless side-swept, which is now hotter than ever.
“Tons of my clients are asking for it,” says celebrity hairstylist Amanda Shackleton. “It’s super easy, looks sexy, and needs only a few steps to get the look.”
“Its popularity stems from the recent vintage hairstyles that are out, particularly the retro waves from the 1940s,” she explains. “Wearing your hair down, especially for a long event, won’t have much staying power, resulting in your hair looking flat and messy in a few hours. By taking your hair and pinning it over to one side, it takes the weight out of the style and keeps it protected from going flat. It’s also great to add volume and easiness on a day when you just don’t feel like doing your hair," says Shackleton.
“The pins are like a bra for your hair!” she adds.
To find out how the side-swept can cure any bad hair day, we asked several other stylists why Hollywood can’t get enough of this look, and how any woman can own it:

“I think that women hitting their 40s and 50s are pre-programmed by society to believe they immediately need to go short,” explains stylist Allen Ruiz, whose work has appeared for fashion houses Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney, among others. “The key to standing out from everyone else is to make sure you get the right cut and length that will play up your best features.”

“A lot of women also tend to experience thinner and drier hair,” adds Ruiz. “The mistake these women make is to think that they should never cut their hair and keep it as long as possible. Quite often, wearing your hair long will accentuate its flaws whereas going shorter would actually help you disguise the issues.”
