The Duchess of Cambridge has earned her style icon status, but her younger sister isn’t too shabby in the wardrobe department, either.
READ: Did Pippa Middleton Wear A Fake Butt To The Royal Wedding?
Pippa Middleton's claim to fame could have just easily been that as sibling to a royal, but she had millions of eyes all on her when she strutted down the aisle in body-hugging bridesmaid dress in 2011. But long after the televised wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William, Pippa Middleton has become a sought-after trendsetter.
While older sister Kate is best known for recycling her couture, sporting head-turning hats, and her love of designer Jenny Packham, Pippa’s take on fashion is more down-to-earth.
“We notice Pippa’s style due to the fact that her choices perfectly suit her personality,” says Emmy Award-winning celebrity stylist David Zyla of the 30-year-old casual Brit. “She shows us exactly who she is. It is never about the clothes, colors, prints, or accessories, but is it the choice of how they perfectly pair with and illuminate her. She might be considered one of the most authentic dressers of our time. Her devotion to flirty peplums and playful fascinators signals a feminine light-heartedness. Therefore, she is a woman who enters the room whom we immediately know something about and therefore can instantly like.”

Zyla also explains that this Middleton stays true to her personal style by sticking to clothes that both suit and enhance her figure, as well as keeping things simple in the accessories department.
“Channeling Pippa’s signature style is best accomplished with a light-handed flair,” Zyla says. “Think quality over quantity: One bracelet instead of a stack of them, or a handbag that is very basic, sleek, and straight-forward.”
Another way to channel the other Middleton? Don’t be afraid to break the rules. Wear outfits that suit your mood and personality at the moment.

“Her skirts can sometimes be just a wee bit short,” says Zyla. “She often ignores the model of not matching shoes and bag and will often appear in a colored dress paired with heels and handbag in a darker tone of it.”
Sounds pretty simple to us, and you don’t even need to empty out that wallet.

For the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala in New York City, it was a celebration of glamorous getups and, in some cases, epic fashion fails.
PHOTOS: The Strangest Looks at the 2013 Met Ball
The star-studded evening, held Monday night, honored British-born designer Charles James, whose figure-hugging couture helped drive American style in the mid-20th century. A far cry from last year’s theme of punk, the night honored fine taste and elegance when it came to women’s wardrobes. And as expected, many celebrities emulated just that on the red carpet.
Considering the charity event is hosted by American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, you would think some of these actors, models, and entertainers would do their best to channel old Hollywood chic. Sure enough, some managed to do just that without a wardrobe fail in sight, while others…not so much.

No wonder the Duchess of Cambridge always recycles her clothes. She uses her real budget for that gorgeous mane.
WATCH: Get Kate Middleton's Blowout
Kate Middleton is famous for many things, including her brunette locks. Perfectly bouncy, shiny and always in place, Middleton’s signature blowout is one many women yearn to achieve. But if you really want a similar well-coifed mane, it’s going to cost you.
ABC News is reporting that, according to The Daily Mail, the royal’s envious polished locks costed more than $10,000 to achieve during her recent 19-day tour of Australia and New Zealand, alongside husband Prince William and son Prince George. The news site adds this eye-popping pricetag is due to the traveling costs of her stylist coming along for the ride. And if you think that’s pretty steep, prepare to take a deep breath. It’s also been revealed Middleton’s clothing budget allegedly totaled over $100,000, but she possibly saved money by doing her own makeup.
“The Daily Mail says the hair stylist Amanda Cook Tucker charges around $250 for a cut and blow dry, but charged Kate twice that since it was an overseas trip,” says ABC News.

So wait, no royal discount?
But there are a few steps you can take at home to achieve similar results (watch the video above for more tips):
“When wanting royal hair every woman must follow suit by taking those extra steps to achieve a healthy, shiny, and voluminous style,” explains celebrity stylist David Babaii on getting the Middleton blowout. “This includes monthly trims to keep the shape in check and picture-perfect condition.”

“Washing your hair daily whenever possible is very important as leftover product residue and oils will weigh and dull hair. My motto has always been clean hair and rinsing all the shampoo and condition from your hair until it is squeaky clean.”
While you could easily get a similar look by bringing in photos of Middleton’s hair to your stylist for inspiration, the blowout can also be done from the comfort of home. Just don’t forget to add one thing the royal never leaves home without.
“To achieve Kate Middleton’s soft curls, turn the ends under, wrapping them around the brush, and hit them with a blast of heat followed by the cool button to set in place,” adds Babaii. “Continue until the entire head is finished, taking smaller sections at the top to create added volume.”

An actress getting a makeover in Hollywood? Not news. But a beautiful starlet with an even prettier new look? Prepare to take notice.
PHOTOS: The Lob: Hollywood's Hottest Haircut
For the New York premiere of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” Thursday, leading lady Emma Stone debuted a new ombre-fringe-lob that perfectly accentuated her flawless features. Along with an ethereal nude cut-out gown, the 25-year-old easily outshined the film’s star, real-life boyfriend Andrew Garfield.
“This isn’t the star’s first foray into fringe,” explains PEOPLE StyleWatch. “She sported bangs before (including for her role of Spidey’s love Gwen Stacy), but she usually keeps them swept to one side. This time she’s cut them straight across her forehead and it also appears that the star might have lightened up her hue with some blonde ombre highlights as seen during her visit to SiriusXM studios Thursday.”
The lob, or a “long bob” cut, isn’t a new concept. In 2013, it seemed every celeb in Hollywood was chopping up their locks for the shoulder-sweeping look, best suited for those who want to go shorter without compromising length. It’s long enough to be worn in a ponytail or bun, but also short enough to create a simple, sleek look without hours under the blow dryer.

And while stylists insist the lob works for nearly everyone (minus super curly gals), Stone’s fringe variation works best for one specific hair type.
“A bang-lob combo works best on finer hair with a slight wave,” explains Giovanni Mele, owner and artistic director Philadelphia-based Giovanni & Pileggi salon. “This can work on both a long oval face and a small round one.”
“The lob is ideal for most women since they can adjust the part, angle or length to best suit their face shape,” says California-based celebrity hairstylist David Babaii. “Another bonus is adding a fringe. This can be a longer swept to the side bang or a blunt Cleopatra-inspired one.”

As for Stone’s sun-soaked hair color? Unlike typical highlights, stylists say the ombre requires less maintenance and easily brightens up your features. However, this is one hair color that only a professional can perfect.
“Make sure to ask your colorist to stay with natural tones and keep a subtle graduation between the colors,” says Los Angeles-based stylist Julia Papworth. “When it comes to root touch ups, since ombre often stays close to your natural hair color, you may be able to go longer in between salon visits than if you had typical highlights.”

PEOPLE Magazine is reporting Kate Middleton, along with husband Prince William, marked their final night down under Thursday with a chic cocktail party at the home of their host, governor-general Sir Peter Cosgrove. As expected, the 32-year-old mother of Prince George dazzled in a figure-hugging white gown -- and she made use of a super-slimming fashion trick.
While Middleton is known for her lean shape, she still managed to make her midsection appear even smaller with help of a delicate lace peplum skirt wrapping around her waist. The dress, created by designer Lela Rose, was paired with simple black court heels, diamond drop earrings, and a romantic chignon. Glamour Magazine is reporting the gown is from the Spring 2012 collection.
Not everyone could splurge on this couture piece, but stylists insist anyone can channel their inner royal and add slimming peplum to their closet. Middleton’s take on peplum may appear fresh, but like with anything else in fashion, this trend isn’t a new one.
PHOTOS: Royal Couple Share Adorably Awkward Moment
“The peplum trend has been popular since women were sporting corsets in the 1800s,” explains vintage fashion stylist and expert Jasmin Rodriguez. “The idea was to dramatically accentuate the curves of a woman’s figure, and it still works magic for the female silhouette today.”
“What makes this trend even more popular is that it benefits every woman’s body type,” adds Rodriguez. “For instance, if you’re slim, sporting the peplum will give the illusion of curves. If you’re a curvy girl it will make your waist appear smaller. Who wouldn’t want that coveted coke bottle figure?”
Stylists Jocelyn Sanchez and Miranda Baham of online personal styling site Stitch Fix also recommend the peplum look, specifically for its ability to cinch the midsection.

“For women, it is always flattering to highlight your waistline,” they say. “To show off your waist, try using a belt to cinch in a cute summer dress or (simply) add a fun peplum top to your wardrobe. These styles create a very visually pleasing shape.”
Another perk? A peplum skirt is a simple layer that can easily hide an unwanted belly pooch, although we doubt the statuesque Duchess has that problem!

Christie Brinkley knows a thing or two about looking forever young.

At age 60, the model easily outshines starlets half her age with her flawless features and gorgeous bod. And while Brinkley is genetically blessed, she’s also a pro at accentuating her best features.
Her best beauty secret? Her full cheeks.
“My British friends used to say, ‘Eh fat face! How ya doing?’” explains the statuesque blonde bombshell to Into The Gloss. “But, in the long run, it’s very anti-aging to have a rounder face. Otherwise you can get quite angular and sunken faster. But I’m actually grateful to be aging–consider the alternatives! Every year I’m still here I’m like ‘Yay!’ And I’m getting more familiar with things to avoid; I Google every single ingredient in everything I use.”

Brinkley also reveals that she makes the most out of her round cheeks by always using blush, specifically Laura Mercier Illuminating Quad in Mocha. As for too-thick foundation to hide pesky lines? Forget about it. Brinkley prefers keeping things simple by merely using a brush and filling in only the areas that are blotchy or discolored with the help of Alcone Foundations palette.
However, stopping time in its tracks isn’t just about camouflaging with makeup. Brinkley also tells the beauty site that she relies on neighborhood drugstores to maintain her gorgeous glow.
“I use the Jergens Natural Glow, which actually gives you a little color,” says Brinkley on her shopping finds. “I usually do the Medium to Tan, but you should always start with the Fair to Medium and go from there…And if I’m not using my own face washes, I use Olay Regenerist Cream Cleanser. “

Brinkley actually loves the Olay product so much, that while developing her own skincare line, she brought a bottle to her formulators, telling them “This is what you’re up against.”
“The Olay is good stuff,” she adds. “I come home sometimes with a lot of makeup on, and it just cuts right through it without stinging or anything.”
It’s also just as important to add a pop of color to one’s face, creating an illuminating effect.

“I bought this L’Oreal Wet Shine Stain in Berry Persistent, and what’s cool about it is that it really has a lot of staying power for a dark lip color,” says Brinkley. “When you put it on, it almost feels like you’re painting and then it dries, but it’s not drying.”
Not a fan of too much color? You can always go bare instead for a similar effect.
“If you want your lips to look big and have fullness, there’s just something about a nude lip,” she explains. “I have a drawer full of nudes, my favorite being Sweet Dreams by Nars.”
