Torrential rain, floods in Bolivia kill 38

Torrential rain and floods in Bolivia have killed 38 people and left many homeless, the government said Thursday.

Forecasters have predicted more heavy rainfall with the north of the country likely to be the worst affected, Reuters reported.

According to the report, the Ministry of Defense flew in food aid and the army was evacuating families.
