A technician working on a large public LED screen in China accidentally broadcast a pornographic film for ten minutes in a main square near the Jilin railway station before he pulled the plug.

Yuan Mou, who was repairing the screen, did not know his computer was still connected to the outlet when he began watching Xin Jin Ping Mei, known in English as “The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks,” Chinese media reported, according to the BBC.

When the advertising company that owned the screen notified Mou about what was being shown, he unplugged his computer and tossed the disc out a window.

The incident happened last week and police are now investigating, according to Chinese media reports.

Photos of the film playing over the square went viral on Chinese social media websites.
