Killing of two Israeli Embassy staffers is a crime against everything America has stood for, journalist says

Various agencies are investigating after a woman was shot and wounded by security guards outside CIA headquarters Thursday morning in McLean, Virginia.
"There was a security incident that law enforcement responded to outside CIA Headquarters. The main gate is currently closed until further notice. Additional details will be made available as appropriate," a CIA spokesperson told Fox News.
The woman's current condition is unknown.

The Fairfax County Police Department said it was providing support as the CIA investigated the incident.
"Today, around 4:00 a.m., patrol officers responded to the 900 block of Dolley Madison Blvd in McLean to assist CIA Police with traffic control following a non-fatal shooting on CIA property," the Fairfax County Police Department wrote in a statement. "FCPD officers are currently in the area providing traffic support while the CIA conducts its investigation. There are no road closures at this time."

The FBI Washington Field Office later confirmed via X that it also responded to the incident.
"#FBI personnel, including members of our Evidence Response Team, remain at the scene assisting our partners," FBI officials wrote in the post.

It is unclear what, if any, evidence may have been at the scene.
There is "no ongoing threat" to public safety, according to the FBI.

There is currently no known connection between the incident at the CIA and the fatal shooting of two Israeli Embassy workers in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday night.
The FBI and CIA did not immediately respond to further inquiries from Fox News Digital.
