The Oklahoma City Thunder reduced their roster to the required 15-man limit by waiving three players on Saturday, including center Daniel Orton.

Orton, a first-round choice (29th overall) by Orlando in the 2010 draft, played in 16 games with two starts for the Magic last season and averaged 2.8 points and 2.4 rebounds. Orlando did not exercise its option on the 6-foot-10 post player following the season, and he signed with the Thunder in August.

Oklahoma City also cut loose guard Andy Rautins and forward Hollis Thompson.

Rautins was a second-round selection by the New York Knicks in 2010 who spent last season playing in Spain, while Thompson is an undrafted rookie out of Georgetown.
