BERLIN (Reuters) - Sweden's International Olympic Committee member Gunilla Lindberg will lead an 11-person evaluation commission that will analyze the 2018 Winter Olympic bids, the IOC said on Monday.

Germany's Munich, South Korea's Pyeongchang and Annecy in France are bidding to host the 2018 Games with a decision to be taken in July next year.

Lindberg, a former IOC Vice President, has been a member of commissions monitoring progress of five Olympic Games.

The commission also includes the IOC's Executive Director for Olympic Games Gilbert Felli, New Zealand's IOC member Barry Maister, who is a former Olympic hockey champion, and Angela Ruggiero, an IOC member from the United States who won Olympic gold in ice hockey in 1998.

The 2018 commission will analyze the candidature files before making on-site inspections of the cities between February 8 and March 5 2011.
