The San Francisco Giants and outfielder Hunter Pence have agreed to a five-year contract, the team announced.

The deal is worth $90 million, according to reports Saturday by CBSSports.com and the San Francisco Chronicle. It is pending a physical.

Pence, 30, hit his 26th home run of the season on Friday, a career-high, and was in the lineup for his 161st game of the season on Saturday.

The two-time All-Star won a World Series with the Giants last year after being acquired from the Phillies at the trade deadline and signed a one-year, $13.8 million for this season.

Pence's new deal is second on the team in terms of average annual value among Giants position players and is the second-biggest contract, both behind Buster Posey, the Chronicle pointed out.
