Reid soars in women's world rankings

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Melissa Reid claimed her fifth Ladies European Tour win last week and soared in this week's world rankings.

Reid climbed 57 places to No. 107 after winning the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open for a second time. The event was a rare Sunday-to-Wednesday tournament.

Lydia Ko remained the No. 1 player and was again followed by Inbee Park, Stacy Lewis, Hyo Joo Kim, Shanshan Feng, So Yeon Ryu and Brittany Lincicome.

Cristie Kerr and Suzann Pettersen exchanged places again this week with Kerr up to eighth. Lexi Thompson was 10th again and followed by Michelle Wie, Amy Yang, Mirim Lee, Anna Nordqvist, Sei Young Kim, Karrie Webb, Azahara Munoz and Na Yeon Choi.

In Gee Chun jumped three spots to 19th and Minjee Lee dipped one to 20th.
