Ashburn, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Washington Redskins safety Reed Doughty has been downgraded to out for Sunday's road game against the Denver Broncos.
Doughty suffered a concussion in last week's victory over the Chicago Bears.
The Redskins will also be without starting safety Brandon Meriweather when they prepare to face Peyton Manning and the NFL's top-rated offense. Meriweather will serve a one-game suspension for hits to the head and neck area of defenseless players during Washington's 45-41 win over the Bears.
