At 6-foot-8, 270 pounds, Scott is one of the biggest players in the NHL. He has been used sparingly by the Blackhawks this year, posting one assist and 48 penalty minutes in 29 games with Chicago. The 29-year-old was averaging just under seven minutes of ice time per game for the Blackhawks.
Scott has played in 140 games at the NHL level with the Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild, recording one goal, four assists and 231 penalty minutes along the way.
