NEW YORK – The Colorado Avalanche at St. Louis Blues game that was postponed due to severe weather has be rescheduled for Feb. 22.
The NHL announced the makeup date on Wednesday.
The game originally set for Tuesday night was postponed hours before the scheduled start. Missouri has been hit hard by potentially the worst winter storm in decades, and St. Louis was socked in by a mix of snow, freezing rain and dangerously cold temperatures.
The game would have been the first since the All-Star break for both teams. The Avalanche will now return to the ice Thursday night at home against Minnesota. The Blues host Edmonton the following night.
