Detroit, MI – The Detroit Pistons signed their first-round draft pick, center Andre Drummond, to a multi-year contract Tuesday.
Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Detroit selected Drummond with the ninth overall pick after he averaged 10.0 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.7 blocks last season as a freshman for the University of Connecticut.
He also shot a team-high 53.8 percent from the floor.
