Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Penguins placed forward ankle sprain.
Kennedy sustained the injury late in the Penguins' 5-2 loss at New Jersey on February 5 and was estimated to miss 4-to-6 weeks while recovering.
In 42 games this season, the 25-year-old has six goals and 16 assists.
