Foxboro, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The New England Patriots re-signed wide receiver Austin Collie on Thursday.
Collie, who was released by the 49ers prior to the start of the season, was originally signed by the Patriots on Oct. 3 and then released on Nov. 5. He played in four games with one start for the Patriots and registered three receptions for 34 yards.
The 28-year-old veteran has played in 46 NFL games with 17 starts and has caught 176 passes for 1,879 yards and 16 touchdowns.
