James Washington scored 23 points and Middle Tennessee defeated Louisiana-Lafayette 93-91 in overtime on Saturday night.

Jason Jones added 17 points for the Blue Raiders (7-9, 2-1 Sun Belt Conference).

Middle Tennessee led for the final 3:09 of OT, but Louisiana-Lafayette's Raymone Andrews hit a layup to cut the deficit to 91-90 with 7 seconds left.

James Gallman hit two free throws to extend the lead to 93-90 with 4 seconds left. Louisiana-Lafayette's Randell Daigle was fouled on a half-court attempt, but hit only one of his three foul shots with 2 seconds left.

Daigle, who scored 13 points, hit a jumper with 1 second left in regulation to force OT.

J.T. Sulton added 16 points and Gallman had 12 for the Blue Raiders.

La'Ryan Gary scored 20 points, Scottie Farrington had 15 and 10 rebounds and Travis Bureau added 14 points for the Ragin' Cajuns (3-12, 1-3).
