Vancouver, BC (SportsNetwork.com) - Eddie Lack turned aside 28 shots for his second shutout of the season to lead the Vancouver Canucks in a 5-0 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday.

Yannick Weber posted two goals, Daniel Sedin had a goal and an assist while Dan Hamhuis and Ronalds Kenins also scored for the Canucks, who have won two straight and hold second place in the Pacific Division with 99 points, two ahead of Calgary.

"The team played unbelievable in front of me tonight," said Lack. "I felt like I was growing into the game because I had to battle in the first, but I was able to read things a little better in the third."

Mike Smith gave up four goals on 24 shots while Louis Domingue allowed one goal on eight shots in relief for the Coyotes, who have lost five of their last six.

"I saw poor execution and some penalties we couldn't kill and that's the game," said Arizona head coach Dave Tippett. "What are you going to do, that's where we are."

Sedin got the scoring started at 16:22 of the first as he one-timed a pass from Henrik Sedin for his 19th goal of the season.

It was a 2-0 game 6:51 into the second as Jannik Hansen threw a shot on net off a right circle faceoff win and Kenins snapped home the rebound.

Weber got his first of the game on a 5-on-3 when his big shot from the high slot found the back of the net with 4:18 to play, and it was Weber again on the ensuing 5-on-4 as his shot made it through a screen for his 11th of the season with 2:50 left in the second.

Hamhuis' first of the season came on the power play with 3:11 to play to account for the final score.
