Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Kansas City Chiefs released wide receiver Chad Hall on Saturday.

The club filled the roster spot by promoting tight end Dominique Jones from the practice squad.

Hall recorded one catch for nine yards in eight games this season.

Jones joined Kansas City's practice squad in late October after playing in six games, starting two, with Indianapolis earlier in the season. He has three career receptions for 42 yards in 10 NFL games, all with the Colts.
