New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Raptors' Dwayne Casey and Dave Joerger of the Memphis Grizzlies are the recipients of the NBA's first Coach of Month Awards of the 2014-15 season.
Both Joerger and Casey have led their teams to the best record in their respective conferences, with the Grizzlies going 15-2 over October and November to lead the West and the Raptors atop the East with a 13-4 mark.
It's the second straight Coach of the Month honor for Joerger, whose Memphis squad is a perfect 11-0 against fellow Western Conference teams. He also earned the award for April of last season.
The Raptors, who lead Washington and Chicago by two games for the top spot in the East, have put together the best 17-game start in franchise history.
