Vancouver, BC (SportsNetwork.com) - The ailing Vancouver Canucks will welcome forward Alexandre Burrows back to the lineup for Monday's game against the visiting Washington Capitals.

Burrows has been sidelined since breaking his foot blocking a shot in the season opener on Oct. 3 at San Jose. His return couldn't have come at a better time after the Canucks lost four forwards to injury on the club's recent seven-game road trip.

Coach John Tortorella said Jordan Schroeder requires surgery to have a pin inserted in his ankle and will be out two months. Dale Weise (lower-body) and Jannik Hansen (upper-body) will both be out 3-to-4 weeks, while David Booth will miss 1-to-2 weeks with an undisclosed injury.
