New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and San Francisco 49ers linebacker Chris Borland have been chosen as the NFL's Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Month for November.

Beckham topped all NFL players with 593 receiving yards in November, while his 38 catches for the month were the second-most in the league. The dynamic wideout eclipsed the 100-yard mark three times over that stretch and became the first rookie in NFL history to record 90 or more receiving yards in five games for a single month.

The 2014 first-round pick's outstanding month was highlighted by a 10-catch, 146-yard, two-touchdown performance against Dallas on Nov. 23, in which Beckham produced one of the season's most unforgettable plays by making a one- handed 43-yard grab for a touchdown.

Borland led the entire NFL with 70 tackles, 10 of which went for a loss, and added two interceptions as well as a fumble recovery in overtime that set up the winning kick in a Week 10 victory at New Orleans. The Wisconsin product was named the NFC's Defensive Player of the Week for a 12-tackle, two- interception effort against the Giants in Week 11.
