Barcelona made profit of $43 million in 2012-13, down from record year before

BARCELONA, Spain – Barcelona says it made a profit of $43 million last season, more than $20 million less than in 2011-12.

The Spanish champions also say the club's debt has been reduced to $449 million, down from $583 million in 2010.

Barcelona president Sandro Rosell says further reducing the club's debt "is the main goal of our economic plan."
