Alec Kobre scored a career-high 23 points and Pacific handled Division II Cal State-East Bay 80-51 on Wednesday.

Kobre, a junior college transfer playing his eighth game for the Tigers, was 5 of 5 from the floor — all 3-pointers — and 8 of 8 from the line, all career highs.

No other Pacific player placed in double figures, but 11 other Tigers scored. Jacob Lampkin grabbed 10 rebounds and Dulani Robinson has three steals.

Jack Pasquini and Patrick Marr had 10 points apiece for the Pioneers, while Jacari Whitfield had five assists.

Pacific shot 50 percent from the floor, made 8 of 13 3-point attempts and was 30 of 41 from the line. The Tigers won the rebound battle 44-22.

Pacific led by 11 at the break but scored the first 10 points of the second half and ran away from the undermanned Pioneers.
